Alex is a new judge on a the supreme court. She is one of the main characters. One trait she has is seriousness. Of course you have to be serious in the courtroom. But with her daughter she lacks in the emotional relationship department.
She's a hopeless romantic, She got pregnant by a married man and thought he loved her. Which he didnt and wanted her to get rid of the baby. She was going to get rid of her baby for the guy until her friend convinced her not too.
She is also very cautious. She doesn't do anything without thinking first. For example, it took her along time to decide to apply for her supreme judge position. She makes it known shes going to take as much time as she needs to make the right decision.
